Structure of AS/A Level Mathematics
The students can either give as level exams or choose to give as and a level exams together. Exam questions for each of these credentials may refer to the entire course material because all assessment occurs at the conclusion of the course.
In As Level Mathematics, The Students Are Required To Choose Two Out Of The Following Four Papers:
- P1: Pure Mathematics 1 (Compulsory)
- P2: Pure Mathematics 2
- M1: Mechanics 1
- S1: Statistics 1
For the A-level Mathematics course, four papers need to be chosen by the students. The first two are compulsory papers, namely P1 (Pure Mathematics 1) and P3 (Pure Mathematics 3).
For The Other Two Papers, The Students Can Choose One Of The Following Combinations:
- M1 (Mechanics 1) & M2 (Mechanics 2)
- S1 (Statistics 1) & S2 (Statistics 2)
- M1 & S1
