What will you learn?
In our IB MYP Spanish Language Acquisition courses, you will learn to communicate in various modes, in more than one language, which is essential to the concept of an international education. You will also learn to use concepts to inquire into issues and ideas of personal, local, and global significance and examine knowledge holistically.
Depending on your prior experience and learning goals, you will be placed in one of the six phases of the MYP language acquisition continuum, ranging from emergent to proficient. Each phase has objectives, criteria, and expectations aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
